With an extra day in Black History Month thanks to February 2024 being a Leap Year, Giant Spoon concepted the promotion, “An Extra Day to Shop Black”, an extra calendar day to support Black-led brands and products.
At the top of every hour in both NYC & LA, a 16 foot clock chimed as a signal that free full-size products were being distributed in branded Walmart tote bags to all who just happened to walk by.
Giant Spoon sourced artists @uzo.art and @french75studios to showcase their art as the backdrop on these giant promotional clocks. Additional photos can be found on Giant Spoon’s Instagram from that day.
